Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Exasig, Inc. ("Exasig," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information through exasig.com, demo requests, business communications, evaluation-software downloads, and evaluation-software telemetry. Where we process information solely on a customer’s instructions, the applicable customer agreement and data-processing terms govern that processing. Our own uses for license administration and compliance are described here.
1 Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of personal information.

The evaluation software collects and may transmit the license telemetry listed above for license compliance and to forecast future license needs. The binary does not transmit design files. Identifiable telemetry is personal information, even when it contains no design files. The Software Telemetry Notice provides a focused disclosure before collection begins.
2 How we use information
- Respond to demo requests, questions, and other business communications.
- Evaluate prospective business relationships and schedule meetings.
- Provide, administer, secure, and document access to evaluation software.
- Use software license telemetry to assess license compliance and forecast future license requirements.
- Operate, troubleshoot, protect, and improve the website and download process.
- Detect spam, fraud, malicious activity, and violations of our terms.
- Comply with law, enforce agreements, establish or defend legal claims, and complete corporate transactions.
- Send marketing communications only where permitted by law. You may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe method in the message or contacting us.
3 How we disclose information
We may disclose personal information to the following recipients for the purposes described above.
- Service providers that support website hosting, form processing, email delivery, scheduling, analytics, security, storage, license administration, customer relationship management, and professional services. Telemetry is disclosed to providers only as needed for the stated licensing purposes and related security or legal requirements.
- Web3Forms, which processes website form submissions for us. Web3Forms may use additional infrastructure and spam-prevention providers as described in its privacy materials.
- hCaptcha, if enabled, to identify bots and prevent abuse. hCaptcha may process device, network, and interaction signals under its terms and data-processing arrangements.
- Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, financing sources, and counterparties under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- Government authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or enforce agreements.
- A buyer, investor, lender, or successor in connection with an actual or proposed financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
Exasig does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by California law.
4 Cookies and similar technologies
The website and its service providers may use cookies, logs, and similar technologies that are necessary for site operation, security, form delivery, and bot prevention. Before introducing nonessential analytics or advertising technologies, we will update this Policy and provide any consent or opt-out controls required by applicable law. Website cookie choices do not necessarily control telemetry collected by the installed software.
5 Retention
We retain routine demo-request submissions for up to three years from submission, unless deleted sooner. Web3Forms applies a maximum of three years, after which submissions are automatically deleted; a shorter plan period or earlier deletion may apply. We apply our retention and deletion process to routine inquiry copies in our email and other systems. Separate records needed for an ongoing customer relationship are retained according to that relationship and documented needs.
Software license telemetry, including usernames, usage frequency, hostnames, MAC addresses, and network names, is retained for up to four years from each record’s collection date for license compliance and license forecasting. We delete it earlier when no longer needed for those purposes or when applicable law requires deletion. Later use, renewal, copying, or account closure does not restart that period. Ending an evaluation does not automatically delete metadata already collected.
We retain evaluation-license acceptance evidence as reasonably necessary to establish license rights and obligations and resolve related claims, considering the evaluation term and applicable claim periods. Routine security logs are kept only as needed to detect, investigate, and address security incidents or abuse. A specific legal obligation or dispute may require limited records to be retained beyond the routine periods, only for that need. We may retain a limited record of deletion or opt-out requests to document compliance.
6 Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure. Do not send passwords, source code, chip-design files, export-controlled data, or other sensitive technical information through a general website form.
7 International processing
Exasig and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where privacy laws may differ from those in your location. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or additional safeguards, Exasig will use an appropriate mechanism.
8 Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of personal information; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision. You may also opt out of marketing email at any time. To submit a request, contact privacy@exasig.com. We may verify your identity and authority before responding.
9 California notice
If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to Exasig’s processing, California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of covered personal information, and to opt out of sale or sharing. Exasig will not discriminate against a person for exercising a covered right. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, subject to verification. The categories collected and disclosed for business purposes are described in Sections 1 through 3. Exasig does not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about individuals.
10 Children
The website and evaluation software are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 through these services.
11 Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law.
